Too late to be blogging
Parallel to my Life
Parallel to the conflicts, bustling, loud cacophonies of my own life, I take on writing with my fountain pen in my diary as the simplest form of escapism a girl can have. Until recently am I introduced to the blogging culture and now aspire to morph this into my journals. A more versatile and accessible option than the potential breaches of paper and diary. I don't intend to make this into more of an essay of how this basic digital logging system can organise data and replace the diary writing habit (like boomers fascinated by new technology), but more onto how I plan to implement this as the foundational skeletal with future scopes of it's own. It's no new technology, no new method, no new trend, just an urge of a human to read and write stories, to immerse and experience.
The chronology of the time I start this blog is ironic, given that blogging culture gained back in the 2000s but for me, a mere fourteen year old in her adolescence.. the time goes way too back. Before I was even born i.e 2011. And I start this at the start of a new 2026, where the world is supposedly ending with a meteor crashing down on the whole world. The hype for the New Year from my side was nothing, really. Yet I find the start of a new year to serve as the fertile grounds for a change. And, yes, there is change. With the innumerable knowledge of daily newspaper quotes, I am pleased in this change no matter how small it is.
“I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples.”
I manifest of me to continue on this train of writing and pen down some little proses, sonnets, haikus, anything that holds the literary peripheral of my mind.
